Meet our dedicated Zwift ride leaders at Team CLS.
Likes sprinting and short hard efforts around Crit City. Nicknamed ‘Scooby’ - my ears go up when I smile. Good grouping and good banter make good rides. One time yoga teacher, table tennis coach, ultimate frisbee player, hoping to do some adventure biking in the future.
David came on board in 2020 and has thrown himself into the Team with real enthusiasm. This is reflected in his leading and his racing. A great find and a privilege to have him on the Team. He always gets involved in the behind the scenes work that goes on as well as we try and develop new ideas.
I started Zwifting nearly 3 years ago. Initially happy to free ride, then plucked up the courage to join the CLS Tuesday TnT workout and was hooked. Great team spirit the warm welcome instantly made me feel like part of the team and defiantly helped me finish that workout. Still love leading these workouts and the occasional Sunday social CnS rides almost 2 years later.
Member of CLS since 2017 but still waiting for a permanent contract! I enjoy seeing the virtual training translating to improvements out on the road. Known for often seeking divine inspiration during tough workouts, having a beige based diet and an unnatural fondness for elephants and crabs! I encourage serious training and serious craic during my beacon rides.
Likes an effort graph that contains a lot of 'RED'. N+1 rule also applies to fans.
Team CLS Race Director co-ordinating ZRL activity and other race events, but also gets involved in the club social rides.
Labeled as an ‘Astute’ Zwifter by Zwift Insider’s Eric Schlange.
Ludo has been a shining example of how to burst on the CLS scene.......Right from the start he got what the Team is all about, teamwork and helping the rear whenever he can, you might say a true Pro. But watch out he speaks a funny language to keep his moves incognito //??..//--\\ - work that one out !
Matt has been us from nearly day dot and is famous for not just his sliders but also for creating the Matterval. A Matterval is for all you strong people out there.......how long dare you drop off the pack before bridging the Gap ! Be careful when it goes wrong you will suffer. Oh and this man can devour a rack of ribs in 30 seconds flat hence the name 'DOG'
Paul hails from the Scottish Highlands and lays claim to possibly the coldest training venue on Zwift - AKA "The Ice Chamber"! Paul is a competitive triathlete and races regularly up to Ironman distance. He also has passion for the gravel and loves seeking out long and remote routes throughout the UK.
